지금 전 세계는 가상현실 공간인 메타버스 내에서 사회·경제·문화·교육 등의 생활을 가속화하고 있다. 5G(5세대 이동 통신) 상용화에 따른 정보통신기술 발달과 코로나19 등 팬데믹에 의한 온라인 활동은 현실과 가상 공간의 경계를 허무는 전환점을 가져왔다. 

Within the metaverse, an environment of virtual reality, the world is currently speeding up its social, economic, cultural, and educational life. The commercialization of 5G (fifth-generation mobile communication) and online activities stimulated by the COVID-19 pandemic have advanced information and communication technology and marked a turning point in the blurring of the lines between real and virtual space.

The university has three domestic invention patent registrations, as well as international invention patent registrations under the PCT in the US, Canada, India, China, the Philippines, Japan, the EU, and other countries. ‘재능경력인증학위’란 현재 종사하는 직업(경력)에 대한 심의과정을 거쳐 학위로 인정하는 시스템으로, 현장실무 경력, 기술 능력을 가장 중요시하는 교육제도다.

◆정민기, 정인기 형제...학위 취득으로 자존감 높아져 

Brothers Jeong Min-ki and Jeong In-gi, earning degrees improved their self-esteem

신한서재능경영대학원은 지난 10일 충남 예산군 덕산면에 위치한 한서아카데미 별관에서 사회복지경영학 부문 정민기, 전통금속학 부문 정인기 군의 학위 수여식을 진행했다. 

On April 10, Jeong Min-ki and Jeong In-ki received degrees from STCGU in traditional metallurgy and social welfare management, respectively, at the Hanseo Academy Annex in Deoksan-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.

정민기(남, 33살, 사회복지경영학 부문) 군은 한라대학 음악학과를 졸업한 재원으로 평소 장애인 봉사활동에 많은 관심을 갖고 이들의 인권 향상과 인식 개선에 앞장서고 있다. 이 경험을 바탕으로 현재 시각장애인 활동보조로 일하며, 장애인들과 ‘행복한 동행’에 적극 동참하고 있다. 

Mr. Jeong Min-ki (33), a graduate of Hanla University with a degree in music, has always been passionate about volunteering for the disabled and promoting awareness of their human rights. Based on these experiences, he now actively engages in "happy companionship" with the disabled and works as an activity assistant for the visually impaired.

특히 그는 합기도 5단의 무술인으로서 제주지방검찰청 범죄피해자지원센터 경호분과위원으로 꾸준하게 봉사활동을 펼치고 있다. 지난해 5월 그 공로를 인정받아 제주특별자치도 도의회 의장 표창을 수상했다.

He continues to work as a volunteer, specifically in the security division, at the Crime Victim Support Center at the Jeju District Prosecutors' Office as a martial artist with a 5th degree black belt in Hapkido. He was honored for his contributions by receiving the Chairman's Citation of the Jeju Provincial Assembly in May of last year.

정 군은 생활 속에서 삼사일언(三思一言, 신중하게 생각한 후 말한다)을 실천하는 신중한 성격으로 장애인들을 이해하고 배려하는 행동으로 지역 사회의 귀감이 되고 있다. 

He is a cautious individual who lives by the maxim "samsaileon(三思一言)," which translates to "think three times before speaking." He is an inspiration to the community for his compassionate and understanding treatment of individuals with disabilities.

정인기(남, 31세 전통금속학 부문) 군은 한라대학 사회복지학과 졸업 후 50년 역사의 제주 전통 대장간의 가업을 승계한 젊은 장인으로서 골갱이와 호미 제작에 주력하고 있다. 어린 시절 외조부와 모친이 운영하는 대장간 일을 도우며 이 분야에 자연스럽게 스며들어 가업을 잇게 됐다. 7년 전부터 본격적으로 기술을 배우고 익히면서 삼대에 걸친 대장간의 대표로 유명세를 타고 있다. 

Mr. Jeong In-gi (31), a young craftsman, took over his family's 50-year-old Jeju traditional blacksmith shop after graduating from Hanla University's social work degree programs, currently concentrating on producing hoes and ribbing. He grew up helping his maternal grandfather and mother run a blacksmith shop, which led to his natural interest in the trade and his eventual takeover of the family business. He started learning and mastering the craft seven years ago, and he is now the forge's third-generation foreman.

그는 평소 신뢰와 책임을 바탕으로 매사에 ‘최선을 다한다’는 신념하에 가업 승계 및 기술 연마에 매진하고 있다. 

He has been working on family succession and honing his skills. He has always believed in doing his best in everything he does based on trust and responsibility

최근 외조부의 건강 악화로 대장간 일을 전적으로 책임지고 있는 정인기 군은 앞으로 공장을 설립해 이곳의 규모 확대와 체계적인 기술 개발에 집중할 계획이다. 정민기 군과 형제인 그 역시 합기도 4단의 무술인이자 지도사범이기도 하다. 

He recently assumed full control of the blacksmith shop due to the declining health of his maternal grandfather, and he has plans to build a factory, increase its scope, and concentrate on methodically developing technology. He holds a fourth-degree black belt in Hapkido, just like his brothers, and works as an instructor, too.

정민기, 정인기 형제의 무술 스승인 부친 정창남 씨는 제주시 서사로 합기도 창민관 대표관장으로서 대한체육회 정회원이며, 대한민국합기도총협회 제주특별자치도합기도협회 현 사무국장이다. 1992년 도장을 열어 30년 세월 쉼 없이 운영하며 경호원과 경찰공무원 등을 배출하고 있다. 

Mr. Jeong Changnam, the brothers' martial arts instructor, is the director of Seosaro Hapkido Changmin-kwan in Jeju City, a full member of the Korea Sport and Olympic Committee, and the current secretary general of the Jeju-do Hapkido Association. He founded the Hapkido gym in 1992 and has been running it continuously for 30 years, producing police officers and bodyguards.
