재능과 경력 갖춘 인재발굴, 한국 교육시스템 변화 주도

새로운 패러다임의 교육혁명을 이끌어 가는 신한서재능경력대학원(총장 함기철)이 4월 15일 충남 예산의 한서아카데미아 별관에서 특별학위수여식을 개최했다.

신한서재능경력대학원은 지난 2012년 설립됐으며, 세계 최초 교육제도로 재능경력중심 학점인정 학사관리시스템으로 발명 특허를 받아 설립된 법인이다. 

국내발명특허제도 3건 및 국제발명특허 PCT 등록의 성과에 빛나고 있으며, 현재 미국, 캐나다, 인도, 중국, 필리핀, 일본, 유럽EU 등과 국제특허등록 신청 및 계약을 맺고 있다. 

지적재산권을 확보한 독보적인 대학원으로서, 코로나19 사태로 대면 교육이 어려운 시대에 진실하고 정직한 개인별 기술과 재능경력을 인증해 주는 교육 혁명 선구자적인 대학원으로 성장하고 있다. 

이날 개최된 특별학위수여식에서는 박종완씨는 수산물유통관리학 부문에서 학위를 수여 받았다.

박종완씨는 지역의 오랜 토박이로서 충남 서산시 동문 52통장을 맡아 이곳을 돌보는데 물심양면 힘써왔으며, 그 와중에 불철주야 노력으로 전문 분야인 수산물유통관리학 부문 특별학위 수여라는 결실을 맺게 된 것이다.

함기철 총장은 인사말을 통해 "코로나로 어려운 시기에 참석해준 모든 분들께 감사하며, 이 세상에서 가장 좁지만 가장 아름다운 우리 대학원의 취지를 믿고 박사 학위를 받으신 박종완 씨에게 축하와 감사를 전한다"고 말했다.

이어 "본인 스스로 걸어온 길에 대한 값진 의미의 증거물이라고 볼 수 있는 우리 대학의 특별학위 수여를 계기로 한 걸음 한 걸음 사회를 위해 나아가주시길 바란다"고 박종완씨에게 거듭 격려의 인사를 전했다.

이날 특별학위를 수여 받은 박종완씨는 "우연의 일치인지 모르지만, 오늘이 42주년 결혼기념일인데 그동안 나를 이끌어 주고 격려해준 부인에게 영광을 돌리고 싶다"고 첫 소감을 밝혔다. 

특히 "함기철 총장님을 비롯한 모든 교수님과 동문 여러분의 지지와 응원에 감사하며, 앞으로 신한서재능경력대학원의 취지를 가슴 깊이 새겨 우리 사회에 작은 밀알이 되도록 많은 노력을 하겠다"고 포부를 밝혔다.

함기철 총장은 신한서재능경력대학원을 설립해 운영해 오기까지 많은 고난과 역경이 있었다.  교육제도 한계에 부딪힌 대한민국 현실에서 학력과 경력을 인정받지 못했던 많은 사람들의 애환을 달래 주는 그를 세상은 교육혁명가라 부른다. 

때문에 기존의 정형화된 교육제도의 틀을 깨고 새로운 패러다임의 교육혁명을 위해 꾸준히 정진하는 함기철 총장의 다음 행보가 주목되는 이유다.

신한서재능경력대학원은 향후 5차 산업혁명을 꽃피울 재능과 경력을 겸비한 인재발굴과 육성을 위해 내실을 기하는데 역점을 둔다.

신한서재능경력대학원의 재능경력 학위 신청 서류는 산업체경력증명서, 자격증, 수상경력, 프로젝트 수행이력, 재능과 경력을 입증할 수 있는 서류 및 기타 실적증명서 등이다. 
이에 대한 학위 심사는 각 분야 국내 최고 전문가로 구성된 학위심사위원회에서 경제, 경영, 유통, 예술, 건강, 식품, 대체의학, 기술응용 등 각 분야별 심도 있는 심의를 진행한다. 

주의할 점은, 재능경력학위 제도를 모방하는 가짜 학위 수여자들이 생겨나고 있다는 것이다. 신한서재능경력대학원의 재능경력인증 학위 제도는 2012년 함기철 총장에 의해 발명특허로 등록 돼 시행 되는 대한민국 최초 특별학위제도로 지적재산권의 보호를 받고 있는 상태다. 이에 학위 신청에 관심 있는 사람들은 가짜 학위에 주의해야 한다.

At the special degree ceremony held on the same day, Park Jong-wan received a degree in the distribution management of awards.

Park Jong-wan has been working hard to take care of the area as a long-time native of Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, and has paid off, getting a special degree in fisheries distribution management.

President Ham Ki-chul said in a greeting, "I express my gratitude to everyone for attending here despite this difficult time with Corona, and congratulations and thanks to Park Jong-wan, who received his doctorate, believing in our narrowest but most beautiful purpose."
And, "I hope you will take a step forward for society with the award of a special degree from our university, which can be seen as a valuable evidence of the path you have taken on your own," he said repeatedly with encouragement to Park Jong-wan.

Park Jong-wan, who received a special degree, said, "I don't know if it's a coincidence, but today is my 42nd wedding anniversary, and I want to give this glory to my wife, Kim Young-ho, who led and encouraged me."
In succession, he expressed his aspiration, saying, "I appreciate the support and encouragement from all professors and alumni, including President Ham Ki-chul, and I will do my best to become a small grain of wheat in our society, keeping the purpose of Shinhanseo Talent Career Graduate University in mind.“

Ham Ki-chul, president of the university, had a lot of worries and hardships before establishing and operating the Shinhanseo Talent Career Graduate University. The world calls him an educational revolutionist, who soothes the joys and sorrows of many people whose educational background and experience have not been recognized in the reality of the current Korean education system.
